In the Athletes’ Commission of the European Athletics Federation for more co-determination of athletes. “The European Championships have proven once again that athletics can inspire great enthusiasm in Europe”
Thanks to the wildcard, I was allowed to be part of the European Championships 2022 despite the ongoing problems and effects of the injury from 2021. A successful event overall, which showed that our sport is still able to fill large arenas in Germany.
Thanks! For your support and commitment to sport in our home Thuringia. Through direct sports sponsoring and team support from the Thuringian Ministry of Economics, Science and Digital Society, we as top athletes can do even better justice to our role as a social role model, which is so important.
From 26.02. From March 12th to 12th, 2022, the national javelin throwing elite met for the first training course in 2022. As in previous years, the goal was the Turkish coast. In the Gloria Sports Arena, the foundations for a successful 2022 season were laid in changeable weather conditions.
From February 10th to 13th I’ll be guest and coach at a top notch coaching event held by USA Javelin Project lead by former top thrower Tom Pukstys.
True to the motto athletes are made in winter, we are already in the middle of preparation training for the 2022 season towards my self-formulated big goal Paris 2024. The current aim is to build up a high level of fitness, i.e. training for training, so to speak.
There is no question that a training camp cannot be taken for granted in times of a global pandemic. So I am all the more grateful that we are allowed to train in the national team in a safe environment for 2 weeks in warm Belek, or that we can at least do our job in the direction of Tokyo 2021.
