On 02.09. met again in the Berlin Olympic Stadium, the creme de la creme of international athletics. The IAAF Worldchallenge – ISTAF Berlin – was all about prestige, revenge and an emotional farewell to a big thrower.

Great media interest prevailed not only on the event day, but also at the press conference on the site of the already started IFA 2018. Scriptwriting was chatted about EM successes and their secondary stories until the star of Berlin – Robert Harting entered the hall. The farewell of a big man moved closer and closer.
Victory in the same place
With two throws over 86m and a little experimentation in the first three rounds I managed a victory in the hotly contested duel of the European Championship podium. All throws you see in the video.
Concentration
Even though the season is already well advanced and only the IAAF Continental Cup is waiting for me in Ostrava on 08./09.09.2018 you can see concentrated trains like in the picture on the right. As a top athlete you are looking for the maximum even after a very successful season. This I discuss here with my coach Harro Schwuchow in detail.

Robert Harting’s closest fans had the unique opportunity to watch a competition, the last one, of their idol up close from the roof of an eBus. A great idea and scene as I think.
