From 26.02. From March 12th to 12th, 2022, the national javelin throwing elite met for the first training course in 2022. As in previous years, the goal was the Turkish coast. In the Gloria Sports Arena, the foundations for a successful 2022 season were laid in changeable weather conditions.

True to the motto athletes are made in winter, we are already in the middle of preparation training for the 2022 season towards my self-formulated big goal Paris 2024. The current aim is to build up a high level of fitness, i.e. training for training, so to speak.

Training camp in South Africa successfully completed
Almost traditionally, the German javelin throwing team is traveling for 14 days in warm climates. As in 2018, the road led us to South Africa, more precisely the university town of Potchefstroom. For me it was about the transition of winter training into the content of the more specific season preparation.
